A storm has hit your neighborhood and done a lot of damage to your roof. There's a possibility that you will need to file an insurance claim to get the repairs completed. At Bartlett Roofing, we’ve worked with a good many homeowners to get their properties restored to better-than-before condition. In fact, our team has also worked with insurance companies on covered restorations. Not every project is exactly the same, but here is a quick look at what usually happens when you contact Bartlett Roofing.
Our Insurance Process
Bartlett Roofing has a simple, yet effective process for storm restorations. Our protocol is designed to provide support for homeowners from beginning to end.
We start you off with a 40-Point Roof Inspection, taking detailed photographs and measurements. Our team won’t give you any quotes over the phone. We want your estimate to be as accurate and inclusive as possible.
If your roof has a hole or will leak in the next rainstorm, we’ll make temporary fixes using plastic tarping to keep the damage from getting worse while in the interim of working with the carrier to verify the scope of work.
We offer a range of materials from top brands, like Owens Corning, GAF, and CertainTeed. Our roof contractor will go over these products with you to select the new materials, colors, and style that best suit your home.
We’ll create an all-inclusive bid and a Project Manager will review it with you to make sure you know:
- What the Costs Cover
- The Payment Schedule
- What Insurance Reimbursements are Expected
We will advocate to the best of our ability by providing an inspection report, photo documentation of the current condition and all damages, and a written scope of work. We use software compatible with insurance carriers such as Xactimate to determine fair market pricing and costs to the carrier to expedite the insurance claims process and verify that the project will be up to building code standards.
Schedule the Installation
Our Production team will coordinate with the property owner to verify install date and materials. They will also contact the supplier and crew to schedule the installation of the project in a timely manner. Weather permitting, most of our roof installs take anywhere from 1-3 days. Our Quality Control team will be on site during the installation to ensure proper install and to document the process for the property owner and the carrier. Our goal is to always leave the job better than we found it!
